Korea mountains rock & ice climbing trip

For foreigners, climbing guides are going to be provided in Kim Young-Ki Climbing School. Korea is a beautiful mountainous country. Mountains cover 70% of whole country land. In addition, change of 4 seasons in Korea is so distinct that we able to enjoy various climbing including both rock and ice climbing.

Rock-climbing in Korea is available from March to October. As much as 3,000 rock-climbing courses of 10 m to 200 m are in this country, so we can enjoy climbing by our own preferences. In case of ice climbing, it is available from January to February. Ice wall of artificial waterfall to huge ice wall of natural waterfall will give you the best ice climbing experiences. Also, ridge courses of Seoraksan national park in Kangwon province, Bukhansan National Park ( Dobongsan and Bukhansan ) in Seoul are very suitable for beginners.

Kim, Young-Ki, Korean professional climber, has a experience of 30 years and won the Ice World Cup competition in France. In 2000, he ranked 22 in international official ice climbing ranking. He is one of the best worldwide climbers.

Kim Young-Ki Climbing School provide climbing guide for foreigners of rock-climbing and ice climbing to hiking. For the beginners, an easy instruction of climbing skills for starters is provided. Our standard ratio for this trip is 2 or 3 clients per guide, this will depend on each particular group or individual. This trip is for those with multi-pitch rock climbing experience. Participants should be comfortable at the 5.7 level or higher.

Kim Young-Ki Climbing School, the best climbing school in Korea, provide vehicle services from international airport to the right climbing sites for visitors to Korea. For boarding & lodging, both mountain villas or motels are available as your preferences. We think that the safety should be prior to any other things on climbing and do our best for pleasant and fruitful climbing.

Conditions	Participants for this trip must be 10 years or older.
